POLICY 1100 PARENT INVOLVEMENT MEETING
Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Bayside Middle School
This is our annual meeting for ALL school administrators, trustees and PAC executives, with invitations to representatives of our unions.
As per Board Policy 1100, the agenda includes an overview by the superintendent of key initiatives at the district and provincial levels and a review by the COPACS President (Nancy Borden) of parent leadership opportunities and the role of the district parent group. We have also traditionally had a program that follows those presentations, with this year's topic being "personalized learning and innovation".
Principals, please discuss this with your PAC executives and confirm who will be attending. Our hope is that all administrators and all PAC executive members will attend, but if circumstances prevent that then please ensure that we have as much admin and PAC representation as possible from each school.
