The upcoming COPACS meeting is on Thursday May 5th, 2011 at the Saanich Schools Education Centre (behind Keating Elementary) starting at 7pm will have a special theme topic: EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS.
Guest Speaker, Capt Brock Henson from Saanich Emergency Preparedness, will present a slideshow on information gained from Christchurch NZ earthquakes (He was there during the second earthquake) and also provide information regarding the Saanich Emergency Preparedness plan and where our schools fit in. A questions and answers session will follow.
Afterwhich, the school board chair and the district staff members will also provide updates..
