Hello again BCCPAC and DPAC leaders around BC,
Vancouver
DPAC and other parent groups are organizing a parent-led rally in
against public education budget cuts in Vancouver on April 12th at noon. We are calling it FACE: Families Against Cuts to Education.
There
are already the beginnings of some plans for FACE events in other
communities outside Vancouver; we are hoping this will be a BC-wide day
of action in support of adequate funding for public education. This will
be a non-partisan family-friendly event to give parents an opportunity
to speak up and advocate for their children.
We hope you will spread the word and attend (or even organize) a FACE event in your area.
