As discussed at our last meeting, please see proposed edits to the COPACS Constitution and Bylaws. Please review these and let us know if you have any concerns. We intend to vote on these edits at the AGM in April (27th).
Key changes:
1) We have removed the restriction preventing PAC Delegates from also serving on the COPACS Executive. Instead, we address the potential for Conflict of Interest directly in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest sections
2) We have expanded the scope of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee to also include Policies and Procedures. In keeping with this edit, we have changed the name of this committee to the "Governance Committee".
3) Numerous minor edits simplifying the language, adding inclusivity, and making better use of standard defined terms.
