COPACS is asking parents to take the time to write to their elected MLAs and the Minister of Education.
We need to quickly find some solutions to some very important issues facing our school district. Not only do we need to get our kids back in the classroom but we need to meaningful address the long standing problem of wage disparity for our support staff.
Not addressing this issue adequately now will have important implications for the District's ability to provide the services our kids deserve and need.
Please find attached a letter to parents from COPACS where we try to deconstruct the current situation from a parent perspective. We have also included a listing of pertinent email contacts and supplemental sources of information that parents may be interested in.
