I hope that you enjoyed (or at least survived) the spring break and week of school closure.
Yes, that is correct --it is not a 2 week spring break but actually 1 week holidays and one week everything is shut down because we can't afford to have schools open.
Confused? Well now you don't have to be because tomorrow night you can meet with school trustees, Monica Schulte, Secretary Treasurer and other district staff to talk about all things green -- money and more specifically a lack of it.
This presentation is an opportunity to understand the 2015/16 budget and to provide your comments to the Board of Education.
The evening will include a presentation of the school district's 2015 Facts Package, where information will be provided on grant analysis, budget pressures, budget changes, trend analysis, district comparisons, and previous working group reports.
The presentation begins at 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 25th at Bayside Middle School.
