COPACS 2023-24
The Confederation of Parents' Advisory Councils of Saanich (COPACS) is the official representative for School District 63 Parents' Advisory Councils. Every school has a Parents' Advisory Council and each of these is a COPACS member. Our primary task under provincial legislation is to advise the School Board on “any matter relating to education in the school district”.

This year (2023-2024) we will continue a hybrid approach of in-person meetings with an option to join virtually via MS Teams (and their dial-in numbers - see below). Meetings will be held at the Individual Learning Centre in Saanichton from 7-9pm and are currently scheduled for the following dates:

Hello everyone!
How are we in May already!? Join us for the final COPACS meeting of the 23/24 school year on Thursday May 9th at 7pm. The executive team will be presenting on the updated personal digital devices guidelines from the ministry. We hope to see you there!

As part of the consultation process, the SD63 Board is asking the community to complete an online survey which closes at the end of day on April 29, 2024. A background document (available here) has been prepared to inform completion of the survey by those unable to attend the Community Budget Meeting.
